02Conditions

  1. Performance area. A clear, level area ten feet wide by eight feet deep, free of furniture, décor and other equipment, as shown.

  2. Arrival. Dr. Bexler will arrive one hour prior to the performance for setup and sound check. The performance area must be clear at that time. The performer uses the front entrance.

  3. Bench. Supplied by the performer. Seat height 19¼ in., measured at the front edge. The venue is asked not to supply a bench, stool or chair, and not to adjust the performer’s bench.

  4. Piano. A house piano is welcome but not required. If present, it will not be used, and its lid should be closed.

  5. Stand B. The performer brings a second keyboard stand, positioned stage left as shown. It remains unoccupied throughout the engagement. It is not to be removed, used as a surface or offered to another performer.

  6. Power. One dedicated 20-amp circuit within 25 feet of the performance area.

  7. Sound. The performer supplies and operates the sound system. A house engineer is welcome. Reverb is set by the performer.

  8. Lighting. Warm, fixed front light. No color changes, moving lights, haze or fog.

  9. Footwear. The performer removes his shoes for the bass pedals and performs in socks (charcoal merino, supplied by the performer, for grip and silence). The performance area should be swept before arrival.

  10. Hospitality. Still water, room temperature, no citrus. The performer does not require a meal.

  11. The performer does not share a stage, patio, loading area or power circuit with another performer.

  12. Please do not position the performer adjacent to an exterior door.

  13. Interval. Fifteen minutes. It begins and ends on time. Please do not reset the room during the interval.

  14. Programs. A small table near the front entrance for the printed programs, which are supplied by the performer and attended.

  15. Load-out. All of the performer’s equipment is labeled. Items not bearing the performer’s labels are not the performer’s and will not be removed from the venue.

  16. Recording. Audio and video recording of the performance are not permitted.
